I understand the critical role that modern, well-maintained facilities play in fostering an environment where students can thrive. That’s why I prioritize building and maintaining well-rounded school facilities that support both academic and extracurricular activities, while also accommodating the continued population growth in our district. My experience in coordinating large-scale projects across California has equipped me with the skills needed to oversee infrastructure projects efficiently and responsibly. I am committed to securing and properly administering the necessary funding to upgrade and maintain our schools, ensuring every student has access to the resources they need to succeed.

Fiscal responsibility is at the core of my approach to public service. With years of experience managing large budgets and coordinating statewide services, I understand the importance of ensuring that every dollar spent by the district is used effectively. I will bring transparency to our budgeting process, as I have done as a member of the Folsom City Council, rigorously oversee expenditures, and continuously evaluate how funds are used to ensure taxpayer money is spent wisely. My focus on efficiency and results-driven policies will help our district achieve its goals while maintaining a strong financial position.

I firmly believe that the heart of any successful school district is its staff. Teachers, counselors, nurses, bus drivers, early childhood educators, special education teachers, custodians, and all other staff members deserve competitive compensation and benefits for their hard work and dedication. I am committed to creating an environment where our staff feel valued, heard, and supported. I will advocate for open communication channels so staff can freely voice their concerns and ideas, leading to a more collaborative and positive work environment. This will, in turn, put our students in the best, safest, and most conducive environment for educational success.

I am a strong advocate for ensuring our students are well-prepared for the workforce, whether they choose college or a trade career. I believe in the importance of trade and technical education programs and am committed to partnering with local businesses, community colleges, and industry leaders to provide our students with valuable experience through internships, apprenticeships, and hands-on training. I will promote professional development and advancement opportunities to ensure our students have clear paths to successful careers. By fostering these partnerships, we can bridge the gap between education and the workforce, empowering our students to achieve their full potential.
